From intimate celebrations to large-scale corporate events, Elite Event Services brings professional DJ and Emcee services to events of all kinds. Our experience includes weddings, Sweet 16s, family reunions, school functions and dances, graduations, sporting and golf tournaments, corporate events, grand openings, community events, retail promotions, car dealerships, private yachts, cruise ships, and more. And yes, we’ve even been part of six NFL Super Bowls! Based in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, we’re also available to travel nationwide. Who will you send to DJ our wedding?
When you hire Elite Event Services for your wedding, you’re not handed off to a salesperson and then assigned a DJ you’ve never met. You’ll work directly with Jay from the initial consultation through your wedding day, giving you one consistent point of contact every step of the way. We intentionally keep our business personal. Rather than focusing on booking as many events as possible, we take the time to get to know each couple, understand their vision, and learn what makes their celebration unique. From your music preferences and special moments to the overall flow and atmosphere you want to create, we use that information to build a truly custom-tailored wedding entertainment experience designed specifically for you.

Does it matter how many guests we have?
We can service any event size big or small, 20 people to over 20,000. If your event will have more than 150 people please let us know when requesting a quote as we may need to supply additional equipment we wouldn’t normally bring to a smaller event.

Will you host the event and interact with our guests?
We do more than simply play music. As your DJ, we are engaged throughout your event. We interact with you and your guests, take requests, and handle announcements to help keep everything moving smoothly. For weddings, you’ll have an experienced, professional Master of Ceremonies who understands how to confidently coordinate introductions, special moments, announcements, and transitions while maintaining the right energy throughout the evening. We’re not just there to play your music, we’re there to help bring your entire event to life.

Can we discuss musical selections ahead of time, and are you willing to play requests?
Your music should reflect you and your event. We take the time to understand your musical preferences, entertainment needs, and special requests, with phone, Zoom, and email consultations available before your event. In-office and on-site meetings are also available for weddings and larger events. From specific songs and favorite genres to music you’d rather not hear, we want to know what matters to you. We’re experienced across a wide range of musical styles and skilled at reading the crowd and adapting throughout the evening. Guest requests can also be incorporated when approved by our client. For weddings, our custom Wedding Music Worksheet allows you to provide detailed selections and preferences, helping us create a soundtrack that is uniquely yours.

How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking your event as far in advance as possible, especially for Friday, Saturday and Holiday events as those are always the first to book up. We take bookings up to 18 months in advance and we will do our best to fill last minute bookings if at all possible.

Will you arrive on time?
Punctuality is a necessity, and as professionals we are very aware of our responsibilities to our clients. We always arrive well in advance of our scheduled start time so that we have plenty of time to set up without being rushed. Standard set up and removal of our equipment is done at no charge and is not a part of your alloted entertainment time.

Is there a contract & deposit required?
We do have a contract required at time of booking. The contract is to cover both the service provider and the client. We require a 50% deposit at time of booking in the form of cash, Zelle, Venmo or business check. We do offer payment plans for balance due on wedding contracts.

What do you bring to DJ our event?
We invest heavily in professional-grade DJ equipment, sound and lighting, because your event deserves to sound as good as it looks. Our production inventory includes QSC loudspeakers, 18” subwoofers, professional mixers and DJ controllers, turntables, an LED backlit DJ booth with fully customizable colors, and truss systems featuring an extensive selection of intelligent lighting, including large LED moving heads. Our intelligent lighting systems are fully computer-controlled from the DJ booth, allowing us to customize colors, movement, speed, patterns, and effects throughout your event. We also offer enhanced production options including photo slideshows, movie presentations, monogram lighting, business and animated logos, cold sparks, ground fog, and LED accent uplighting. We continually invest in our equipment and technology to provide our clients with a professional, polished, and reliable experience. What are your rates to DJ our event?
Our pricing is customized based on the type of event, location, day of the week, length of service, and other factors. In the Phoenix/Scottsdale market, experienced professional wedding DJs commonly range from $1,500–$3,000+, with packages available at a wide variety of price points. When choosing a DJ for your wedding, we encourage you to look beyond the price. Your wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and the experience, preparation, professionalism, and reliability of your entertainment team matter. At Elite Event Services, we average approximately 10 hours of preparation for each wedding before we ever arrive at your venue. Our experienced Emcees help manage the flow of the evening and interact with you and your guests, while our proprietary Wedding Work Packet allows you to fully customize your DJ/Emcee experience. We also arrive with professional-grade equipment and backup equipment on-site, helping ensure your celebration continues without interruption should an unexpected equipment issue occur. We are licensed and fully insured, providing another level of professionalism and protection for you and your venue. Most importantly, we are an established, full-time event entertainment company. Do you require us to have a coordinator?
Because your wedding day deserves the attention it deserves, all wedding bookings require a professional day-of wedding coordinator or planner to be on-site from at least one hour prior to the wedding start time through the conclusion of formal wedding activities. Our role as your DJ & Emcee is to focus on what we do best, creating an incredible atmosphere, entertaining your guests, and keeping your celebration flowing smoothly. Without a professional coordinator on-site, DJs can often become responsible for tasks outside the scope of entertainment, such as coordinating vendors, directing setup, locating members of the wedding party, or managing last-minute logistics. Having a dedicated coordinator allows everyone to stay focused on their role and ensures your wedding receives the attention it deserves. We would love to work alongside our preferred coordinator, Celebrations by Heather, but we are happy to work with any experienced professional wedding coordinator or planner you choose. DJ Elite and Celebrations by Heather have worked together at more than 100 weddings, giving our team extensive experience working seamlessly together to coordinate the many moving parts of your wedding day.
